Karl Muggeridge found himself the only Ten Kate Superbike
rider finishing the three day test here at Valencia, after
Chris Vermeulen had to withdraw after a few laps on day
one, as his wrist was lacking of strength after the recent
wrist operation. Muggas himself suffered a huge high-side
on the second day, but managed to soldier on despite some
hyperextend ligaments in his right wrist and lapped the
Valencia circuit with a 1'37.200.
Muggas
comments: "We are pretty pleased with the test down
here in Spain, it was very productive, we got to try new
brakes, some prototype forks, suspension links and
different engine parts which should give us some important
information for the development of the machine back at the
workshop. Our lap times are slightly back from the fastest
man, but nothing to worry about considering we've been
using the same race tyres through-out the three days and
haven't tried out any of the softer tyres that Pirelli
brought along."
Muggeridge is of the SHARK Extreme event for a couple of
days in Biarritz and than back to Spain (Jerez) for the
Honda Press Test and than the new CBR 600 launch at
Estoril Portugal from the 25th-30th
November.
