The thirteenth round of this year’s Superbike World Championship takes place at Magny-Cours circuit in France and the Suzuki Alstare rider Karl Muggeridge is looking to improve on last weekend’s showing in Imola. The Italian circuit was the first time Suzuki Alstare have used Ohlins suspension and there was a lot to learn in a very short space of time.

Nevertheless, the sighs were very encouraging and Karl is looking forward to making further progress with the Swedish company’s products.
Regular Suzuki Alstare teamster Max Neukirchner was at Imola last weekend and had long consultations with the Clinica Mobile as to when he can race again. The young German wants to get back into action as soon as possible, but is adopting a common sense approach as to his actual return date.

Karl comments: "I am happy to deputise for Max and I will try and do as good a job as I can for Francis and the team. I agree with Yukio regarding the suspension - the front end is already good and it is the rear end that we have to work on. It’s always difficult testing something during a race weekend, but this is what we have to do, so it’s best just to get on with it. Hopefully we can find a good set-up early on in the weekend and then really go for it in qualifying, Superpole and in the races.
