Karl Muggeridge has made an agreement to ride for the HRP team in the German IDM Superbike class in 2010.

The 2004 World Supersport Champion, more recently a Superbike rider on Honda and Suzuki equipment in WSB, has opted to join the respected German team to be able to race for wins again on his Honda, and guarantee a strong ride in an era of financial uncertainty.

Said Muggeridge, "The team is run by  Jens Holzhauer who is a Honda dealer and also has a tuning business. The team is called HRP, they are good guys, and run it very professionally. We have put together a pretty good deal and the expectations are to go out and win!

The guys in the team all speak German, but I will have to improve mine I think! Even if it is only to make sure they understand my jokes. I will get to work directly with Pirelli for developing the tyres. We have been already testing down in Misano and we did a lot of work on the bike. The bike feels great and I’m looking forward to race again on a competitive machine and having a chance to actually go for the win. "
